hi there.

I have a couple of questions about tanking in foundry mainly. I've been smiting there for some time and thought why not try tanking.

My questions are:

1. The black beast of arrgh uses a skill called "Touch of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh" .. how do tanking manage to survive this skill ?!?!

2. the Fury and the black beast of arrgh use the skill Fingures of chaos ... who do you survive that also?

3. I went with a guy once who asked me to turn off my lb title when we were at the fury ... he killed a couple fo mosters and when the fury is left with only the gaurdians of komalie and 2 KIs he asked me to put it on again ... why is that?? ... at first he had trouble surviving but after I did what he asked he managed to survive and kill the Fury.

4. In City of Tocua I noticed that a smiter takes damage at the end when facing Lord Jadoth ... what is the cause of this damage?

Note : I only run as a smiter in foundry so far and I'm trying to run as a tank so any help is appreciated.

1. Cast SoA right before the Black Beast gets to you, then PI on him immediately afterwords. After that, wait until SoA completely runs out before you reapply it (you'll probably be hit by his touch skill by then). He should be dead before they can kill you.

2. Hide behind a wall, get the Kis to be able to hit you, but not the Fury. After you kill both Ki's (this will take a while), get his other minions in range to hit you. Lastly, stay behind the wall but dont cast Spell Breaker. Let the Fury cast spells on you and put PI on him. This will kill him.

3. I'm guessing this is because of the damage reduction. The Ki's can be kind of weak when not enraged, but this is definitely not required to complete the run.
